Diving and finding Easter Eggs at the Medes Islands was a success

The Easter Eggs hunt at the Medes Islands was a success!

A team of 8 divers found more than 30 eggs hidden in the marine reserve of the Medes Islands, a wonderful aquarium where you can find fishes as well as Easter Eggs ;)

But a picture is worth a thousand words:

Our participants had a lot of fun diving, found the hidden treasures and won prizes too.

Have a look:

Thank you everybody for participating! We wait for you next time!

Thanks to our partners: the diving center Unisub, and our team Eva and Benji.

Swimmers has received an award

Last Tuesday, on February 7, as the Swimmers founder, I received the recognition of Entrepeneur 2011 by the District Council of Baix Empordà. I’m excited, very happy to receive this award. The bases of recognition dictate that the award is given to who has stood for entrepreneurship and business insight. So you can imagine my joy. Josep Mascarós, the winner from last year, awarded for Biotactex, gave me the prize.

The event was charming and interesting. A debate on funding with great speakers preceded the awards ceremony. This prize for me is a shot of energy to keep fighting and working hard on this innovative project, which is a part of myself. After this news, I will continue working with even more enthusiasm and joy for you Swimmers, because I would like that you stay with us, and those who don’t know the activity could try it, and have a good time playing under the water. I also would like you to share your experiences with us on the website and if you have new ideas let us know. For me, the most important thing is that together we build this treasures network. And I need your help. Just feel like having fun ;)
An article was published in the Punt Diari ( a Catalan newspaper). Check out the online version here. And the paper version with the photo here. And now and most importantly, THANKS (in bold capital letters) to all the Swimmers, to all the people who were in the ceremony awards, to the County Council members for the award, to people who sent e-mails, Facebook and Twitter messages, and of course thanks to everyone who supports me every day and loves me.

Let’s go playing underwater geocaching!
